China Summer Camp | Flight and Arrival
By Air

Shanghai is simple to get to as one of China’s major international hubs. If you can’t fly direct, you can go via Beijing or Hong Kong. Shanghai has two major airports: most international flights go through ultramodern Pudong International Airport (PVG), 45 km (30 mi) east of the city (the direct distance on the map), whereas domestic routes operate out of the older Hongqiao International Airport (SHA), 15 km (9 mi) west of the city center.

Beijing is served by Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK), for both domestic and foreign trips. It’s the world's second-busiest airport and is located approximately 26 km (16 mi) to the northeast of the city).

MandarinRocks includes two-way airport transfers from both airports in Shanghai and PEK in Beijing for all full camp students to ease their minds. Students should arrive on Sunday (after 14:00) before the program starts and depart on the last Saturday. Students or parents can provide flight information when booking our program or send us the information 7 days ahead. Our driver will hold a board with the student’s full name and our school name at the only exit of the airport and transfer them to the residence place where they will meet the counselors and other participants or host families. We will notify the kids’ parents once they have arrived and departed for home.

By Car

If students to take the full camp program are already in Shanghai or Beijing, they can arrive at our campsite after 14:00 on Sunday before the program starts and leave on the last Friday or Saturday morning. Please let us know when you are coming and leaving in advance. Day camp students only need to arrive on the first Monday in the morning.
