China Summer Camp | Stay Healthy and Safe
Both Shanghai and Beijing are very safe cities. Violent crimes are very rare even in the poorest neighborhoods, and streets are quite safe to walk about at night. Most crimes are petty like pick-pocketing in crowded places and tourist-targeted scams.

Students' well-being is our top priority. We make sure every camper is well looked after. In our program, students (under 15) are chaperoned by experienced counselors all the time, from having meals to going to classrooms, afternoon activities, and weekend trips. The counselors stay in the student residence or guest house in the evenings and on weekends to take care of every personal need or concern that each student may have. There is also 24h security and clinic support at the residence site. Any private outings are subject to the parent’s prior written consent and our approval. The specific days, frequency, and times are carefully determined by us for each student.

If students have any chronic medical concerns, allergies, special dietary needs, or other requirements, they or their parents should notify us in writing, preferably at the time of booking. If the child plans to bring his/her own medicine to the camp, parents should send it with him/her, along with full instructions on its correct use. Additionally, it may be advisable for the student to carry a medical report from his/her doctoring detailing any special medical needs from his/her doctor. If students appear sick, we will notify the parents or guardians and take them to a doctor, or hospital with adequate medical facilities promptly. The program does NOT cover the costs of non-generic medications or off-site care and you are expected to purchase premium insurance in your home country in advance.
